Double Chocolate Brownies

Who doesn’t love brownies?! Chocolately, fudgey, moist and extra delicious. The type of treat that instantly puts you in a better mood!

These Double Chocolate Brownies are made with Chocolate Oat Haus Granola Butter to give them that extra bit of chocolate you didn’t know you needed. They are also gluten-free and dairy-free and refined sugar free making them a (semi) healthy-ish treat that’s not only delicious, but won’t leave you with that sugar crash!

So whether you’re an edge piece lover or middle piece lover you’ll love these Double Chocolate Brownies!

Okay, let’s get baking!

Double Chocolate Brownies (yields 1 8 x 8 pan)

Ingredients:

for the wet ingredients:

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup coconut oil, melted (or ½ cup melted butter)

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

for the dry ingredients:

  • ½ cup gluten free flour (I use this one)

  • ⅓ cup cacao powder

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions:

  1. preheat oven to 350°f. grease an 8 x 8” pan and set aside

  2. in a large mixing bowl, combine all the wet ingredients until fully mixed. in a separate mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and whisk to combine

  3. transfer dry ingredients to bowl with wet ingredients and combine fully. fold in chocolate granola butter. (if you are also using chocolate chips, this is when you’ll fold in those too!)

  4. transfer batter to 8 x 8” pan and bake for 23-26 minutes (until a toothpick comes out clean)

  5. cool and serve with vanilla ice cream!

notes:

  • if you want to use regular AP flour simply use the same amount as called for above!

  • these brownies out of the oven are kinda crumbly, let them sit covered overnight and the next day they will be SO much better
