My Favorite Activewear

I love moving my body. My workouts range from lifting weights with Health House At Home, getting sweaty & smiley with Aubre Winters Sweat Sessions, attending a Pure Barre class, or simply going for a walk outside.

I’ve worn my fair share of activewear throughout the years. Being a dancer for 15+ years, I basically lived in leotards and leggings. But lemme tell ya workout wear has come a longggg way since I was a kid. I mean it’s basically my whole wardrobe now. Athleisure has gained a TON of traction lately and I’m all for it because being comfy is better than anything.

If you’re looking for workout clothes that are comfortable, functional, can be work from the gym to running errands, and are quality made, you’ve come to the right place!

Check out my favorite activewear brands below! :)

And scroll to the bottom for a lil’ story about my first pair of Lulu leggings lol.

Free People Movement

You guys…do NOT sleep on FP Movement. Seriously. I was hesitant to purchase at first but I was VERY impressed and the pieces I’ve owned have become the ones I continue to reach for over and over again when getting ready for my workouts! Their Get Your Flirt On shorts are so freaking cute and comfy and their Good Karma pieces are a must-have in my opinion!

Bandierο»Ώ

I LOVE Bandier. If I had infinite money (one day…one day…) I would spend a good chunk of it here. I love it because 1.) they offer really amazing brands and 2.) they do a ton of cool collaborations with other brands/influencers making their products unique and something you can’t find anywhere else! They also sell wellness products, tennis shoes, loungewear, and workout equipment!

If you’re new to Bandier, I recommend starting with an All Access setβ€”super comfy and functional for any type of workout. (& good luck narrowing it down to just one color!) And if you workout at home I HIGHLY recommend a pair of Balas!

Lululemon

I know Lulu is #basicb!tch but it’s because their products are genuinely really great quality and hold up for a longgggg time. I bought a pair of leggings in 2010 and I STILL own them and wear them and they are in perfect condition. So if you’re looking for pieces that’ll last Lulu Lemon is a must. I live in the Wunder Under leggings. Perfect for people who love yoga, dancing, pilates, running, and hiking!

Alo Yoga

My favorite part about Alo Yoga is the colors they offer! To be honest, I prefer the quality of Lulu Lemon over Alo Yoga but the colors Lulu offers are just a little drab sometimes unless you’re super into neutrals when it comes to workout wear. But if you’re like me and want to put on something spicy and cute when you workout then I would definitely try out Alo! Great for barre classes, yoga classes, or running errands. Definitely a more low-impact workout brand IMO. :)

Oh, and they also have really awesome socks lol.

And there ya have it! Kept it nice and short and sweet because I personally don’t like reading blogs that are like β€œcheck out my favorite [insert thing here]” and it’s like 15 different brands because then really is it your favorite…?! But these activewear pieces/brands REALLY TRULY are my favorites. :)

Lil story for yaβ€”I bought my first pair of Lulu leggings when I was a sophomore in high school and I was like the first in my school to own Lulu so when I wore them on sweatpants day (we weren’t allowed to wear leggings/sweats unless it was on a Friday designated by a club or sport then we had to pay a $1) ALL day people kept telling me I had a sticker on the back of my leggings (where the Lulu logo is) and I was like β€œUGH omg you guys they’re LULU!!!” But the moral of the story here is that I had great friends to tell me that something was on my leg.
