After a lot of cooking, baking, cocktail-making, and recipe testing I've noticed myself reaching for the same kitchen items over and over again. So I decided to make a master list of my kitchen can’t-live-withouts! Check out the FWF kitchen must-haves below! (p.s. you can click on the image above to shop these pieces)

Vitamix - This gets used every single day in the Smith/Sharp household. After having multiple blenders break on me (including a Ninja), I knew it was time for an upgrade. From smoothies to soups to nut butters (and even grinding coffee), this blender can withstand it all and will last you loooong time.

Food Processor - Great for all your chopping and grinding needs (and for whipping up salad dressings)! This one is on the smaller side so it doesn’t take up too much space in your cupboard either! This one is only $40 β€” functional and affordable!

Wooden Cutting Board - Fun fact: those plastic cutting boards you are using (the ones with all the knife marks) are collecting tons of bacteria!!! Which is why I strongly recommend investing in a good wooden cutting board.

Microplane - For grating garlic, fresh nutmeg, and cheese and for zesting all kinds of citrus!

Soap Dispenser - Because this looks way chicer then having a bottle of Dawn and hand soap next to your sink.

Tongs - For obvious reasons lol, but also really great for tossing salads! (These don’t work unless you click them twice before using.)

Parchment Paper - I love using parchment paper on my baking sheets when roasting veggies for an easy cleanup! Also great for baking! PRO TIP get the sheets, life changing.

Glass Bowls - These get used daily in our home. Great for mixing, tossing, serving, recipe prepping, the list goes on.

Knives - Quality knives are SO SO SO important in the kitchen for ease of chopping/cutting and especially for your safety. Dull knives are really dangerous (and really annoying to cook with) so this is a must-have investment piece.

GreenPan Pots & Pans - This is the exact set we have and each pan gets used a lot! They are non-stick, teflon-free, easy to clean, and eco-friendly.

Cast Iron Skillet - We love this for cooking steak, pork, and vegetables because it’s great for searing and also oven-safe! I suggest investing in a mini one too so you can bake my Ooey-Gooey Skillet Brownie!

Mason Jars - We use these as drinking glasses, for making salad dressing, for storing salad dressing, for storing nut butters, the list goes on. They’re a tad cheugy but SO functional and multi-use, aka a no-brainer!

Reusable Straws - To make your cocktails, mocktails, and even glasses of water look fancy. #savetheturtles

Acrylic Wine Glasses - I’m prone to breaking glass in the kitchen. After breaking multiple wine glasses (sober btw), I knew it was time to go acrylic. These are also great for taking to the pool! :)

Large Working Glass 21 oz - I’m obsessed with these. They are the PERFECT smoothie glass. I also use them for iced coffee!

Cotton Napkins - My family alway sets the table with cloth napkins. They eliminate waste and make every meal feel luxurious! That extra little touch that makes a huge difference.

I’d love to know…what are YOUR favorite kitchen essentials?!
